1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of website services by Simple Sites (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”).

By signing up to our service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Service Overview

We provide a fully managed website service which includes:

• Design and build of a 5-page website
• Hosting on UK-based servers
• Domain registration and renewal (.co.uk where applicable)
• Business email setup
• Ongoing maintenance, updates, and support
• Up to 1 hour of content updates per month

The service is provided on a subscription basis and remains active while payments are maintained.

3. Pricing and Payments

• The service is charged at £19 per month
• Payment is taken in advance on a monthly basis
• No upfront build fee is required

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or removal of your website and associated services.

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.

4. No Minimum Term and Cancellation

• There is no minimum contract term
• You may cancel at any time

Upon cancellation:

• Your website will be taken offline
• Hosting, domain, and email services will cease
• No further payments will be taken

Cancellation must be requested through our official contact channels.

5. Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the initial service, you may request a full refund of your first monthly payment.

Refunds are:

• Limited to the first payment only
• Provided at our discretion where reasonable dissatisfaction is demonstrated

6. Website Build and Revisions

• We aim to deliver an initial website draft within 1–2 working days
• You are entitled to unlimited revisions during the build phase

Once the website is approved and published:

• Changes fall under the monthly update allowance

7. Monthly Updates and Additional Work

Your subscription includes:

• Up to 1 hour of updates per calendar month

This may include:

• Text edits
• Image changes
• Minor layout adjustments

Unused time does not roll over.

Additional work beyond this allowance:

• May be quoted separately
• Will only proceed with your approval

8. Content Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring any information provided is accurate and lawful
• Having the right to use any images, logos, or content supplied

We reserve the right to refuse or remove content that is:

• Illegal
• Misleading
• Offensive or inappropriate

9. Domain Names and Ownership

• We manage and renew your domain while your subscription is active
• Domains are registered on your behalf

Upon cancellation:

• Continued use or transfer of the domain may be subject to an additional fee
• If no arrangement is made, we reserve the right to retain or release the domain

10. Hosting and Email Services

• Hosting is provided as part of the subscription
• Email services are included where applicable

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Maintenance and Security

We carry out:

• Regular updates to WordPress and plugins
• Weekly backups
• Basic security measures

While we take reasonable steps to protect your website, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Search Engine Visibility (SEO)

We implement basic SEO foundations to allow your website to be indexed by search engines.

However:

• We do not guarantee rankings or specific positions on search engines
• Results depend on external factors beyond our control

13. Service Limitations

This service is designed to be:

• Simple
• Standardised
• Efficient

It may not be suitable for:

• Complex functionality
• Custom development requirements

We reserve the right to decline work outside the scope of our service.

14. Liability

We are not liable for:

• Loss of business, revenue, or profits
• Any indirect or consequential loss
• Issues arising from third-party services or platforms

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service.

15. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service if:

• Payments are missed
• These terms are breached
• The service is used for unlawful purposes

16. Changes to the Service

We may update or improve our service from time to time.

Any significant changes will be communicated in advance where possible.

17. Governing Law
